The Elite Runners Track & Field Club is an independent youth program based in both Edison  and Woodbridge, New Jersey and includes athletes from all communities within both Townships.  Male and female athletes in ages ranging from 6 - 18 and regardless of athletic ability or prior experience, participate in a year round program consisting of 3 seasons: Cross Country, Winter Track, and Spring/Summer Track.  The track club's purpose is to represent the efforts of concerned professionals & nonprofessionals who believe that incorporating athletic ability into friendly organized competition results in the effective development of youth in assuming productive and responsible roles within their homes, schools, and communities.

The Elite Runners as a team performed exceptionally well at the USATF State meet on 11/2; several atheletes hit their Personal Records and also placed in the top 10 to medal.  Athletes placing in the top 10 for their age group are recognized below:

 Also placing 2nd as a team in the Midget Girls Division were Brittany Gasser, Stephanie Britton, Emily Shibata, Carla Gray, and Shannon Tonra.
